Netgear EX2800 Extender Setup-WPS Method

  • Keep an eye out for the power LED turning solid green once the extension is connected.
  • Join the extender’s WiFi network.
  • Launch a web browser and input mywifiext.net setup or 192.168.1.250 into the address bar.
  • Follow the directions displayed on the screen if you want to manually setup the extender.
  • Select the WiFi network that you wish to expand, then type in the password.
  • Once the installation is complete, wait for the extender to reboot.
  • Move the extender to the optimal location for better coverage after restarting it.

 

  • Keep an eye out for the power LED turning solid green once the extender is connected.
  • You need to press the extender’s WPS button.
  • Give the WPS button a two-minute press.
  • Watch for the WPS LED on the extender to turn solid green.
  • Join the WiFi network of the extender with all of your devices.
  • For optimal coverage, move the extender to a suitable location if necessary.
