For optimal WiFi performance, the Netgear EX7000 Setup increases the range of your WiFi network to every corner of your house. After the Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 EX7000 WiFi extender is configured, its dual-band range allows it to cover a distance of up to 100–150 feet.

To configure the Netgear Nighthawk EX7000 for the first time, use the smart wizard on www.mywifiext.net. On the rear of the chassis, there are five gigabit Ethernet connections, a power switch, a reset button, and a Wireless Protected Setup (WPS) button. The Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 Setup Settings dashboard may be accessed via Mywifiext.net EX7000.

Turn on the extender and give it some time to warm up.

Connect the device to the WiFi network of the extender.

Netgear AC1900 WPS Setup | EX7000

The EX7000 extender’s WPS button needs to be pressed.

Press your router’s WPS button within two minutes.

Wait for the extender’s WPS LED turning solid green.

Connect the device to the wider WiFi network.

In the address box of an open browser, type “www.mywifiext.net setup”.

To finish the setup, follow the instructions that are shown on screen.

Login Netgear Nighthawk EX7000 Mesh Setup

Create a WiFi connection with the Netgear EX7000.

In the address bar of an open web browser, enter “www.mywifiext.net”.

Use the admin username and password as the default to log in.

Configure the mesh settings by following the setup guide.

Select the password and network name that you want to use.
When the setup is complete, watch for the extender to apply the adjustments.
